The hall of the Casa Vicina restaurant is the heart of the reception and dining experience.
Service and wine selection are taken care of by Stefano Vicina.
“I strongly believe in the added value of a good welcome. When our guests enter the restaurant, it is as if they are stepping over the threshold into our world of flavours and creativity”.”
Vicina per Stefano's artistic and creative verve is expressed in their ability to contextualise and enhance the culinary proposals through skilful wine matching and the creation of a unique atmosphere in the restaurant room.
When choosing the wines to propose, Stefano Vicina prefers wineries with an important history of passion and quality. The wine list, in fact, includes a careful selection of Italian and international proposals made with the support of his nephew Stefano D'Elia, a member of the dining room team. Particular attention has been paid to the choice of organic and in-conversion wines. The more than 700 bottles are displayed in the open cellar located at the entrance to the restaurant.
In addition to his personal passion for “the art of hospitality”, his training follows in the footsteps of his father Roberto, who was for many years head waiter. In collaboration with his brother Claudio and sister-in-law Anna, he takes care of thematic initiatives such as tasting evenings, collaborations with important chefs and renowned Italian wineries.

“I feel at home here, despite being 1000 km from my roots. During these years working in the dining room, I have become increasingly passionate about the world of wine. This interest drives me daily to constant research and study to broaden my horizons.”
Stefano joined the team in 2011 and over the years has specialised in wine service. Originally from Puglia, he moved to Turin after obtaining his qualification as a Technical Programmer Accountant. Together with his wife Laura, they manage the dining room under the attentive guidance of Stefano Vicina, the restaurant's Head Maitre d'.

“The restaurant is my second home; I grew up in this dynamic world of catering. I am proud to be part of a family project that, with myself and my sister Silvia, boasts 5 generations dedicated to giving voice to Piedmontese regional cuisine.”
Laura, the eldest daughter, works alongside her uncle Stefano in the hall, supporting him with activities. She is also responsible for communications and social media. Her degree in Communication Sciences is an additional asset for developing and conceptualising new and engaging initiatives.
